One Year at the Table
A letter from our founder, Caroline
A Movement Bigger Than the Game
From the beginning, my vision was never simply to make beautiful mahjong sets. It was to build tablescapes: rooms with a strong point of view, designed with an artist's eye, made to draw new players to the table through elevated design alone. I wanted every set we created to feel like a work of art, with enough presence to turn a game night into an occasion.
What I did not expect was what would happen once people sat down. I watched business get conducted across those tables. I watched memories form between women who had never met before that afternoon. I watched conversations happen that might never have happened anywhere else, because a shared game gave strangers a reason to stay in the room. I realized quickly that I was witnessing something far bigger than mahjong. I was witnessing a movement.
What This Year Actually Was
I want to be honest with you. Building a category defining brand from a kitchen table, both literally and in every other sense, has meant learning in public. Somedays correcting course, sitting with doubt on nights when the vision felt bigger than the resources to build it and lessons that only came from getting it wrong first.
What carried us through was never certainty. It was the women who chose us before the tiles were perfect, before the packaging was right, before we fully knew what we were building toward. Thank you for that trust. It is not lost on me, and it is the reason this Haus stands a year in.
Our Vision: Elevate the Table
This has never wavered. We are here to elevate the table. Not a pastime squeezed between errands, but a room worth dressing for. Not a set bought once, but an heirloom kept for generations, passed from grandmother to granddaughter, mother to daughter, bridesmaids to bride. Every piece we design is built to outlive trends and outlast the table it sits on.
That is the standard behind every one of our collections, every collaboration, partnerships, and every gatherings we host. Unapologetic luxury, in service of a game that deserves it.
The Year Ahead
I will not tell you everything. And believe me there is lots to tell! Some things are worth protecting until they are ready. But I can offer glimpses.
New heirloom collections are coming, standing alongside the legacy designs that built this Haus. A collaboration with one of the most beloved names in American couture bridal is debuting to press this fall, the kind of partnership that will set the standard for everything we do next.
This is the most ambitious year we have built toward. Consider this your invitation to watch closely.

Thank You
A year ago this was an idea and a kitchen table. I still get a little chuckle thinking that I was going to launch the Haus from my garage. Our clients quickly proved from day one that we needed more space. Currently, we are preparing to relocate our warehouse to a new location to increase capacity.
I am personally grateful for every friend, colleague, and client who had joined us to help tell our story and join us around the table.
Today our Haus is filled with love and adoration for the community who helped us build a vision into reality, and it is yours as much as it is mine. Thank you for sitting with my incredible team. Here is to the next one.
With gratitude,
